K.P. Whitlomb – Author Biography

Krystyna Priscina Whitlomb is the pseudonym of a lovely and beguiling woman from the Northwest Pacific region of Canada. A mother first, an author second, an artist third, a healer but never as her last gift. She has written and self published stories for decades, rarely taking herself as seriously as her fans have. Now, with much effort and aplomb, she is compiling a serious online presence and is prepared to share her gifts with the world stage. Under this particular name, she writes horror, fiction, science fiction and fantasy, with sprinklings of romance, humanity and philosophy.

“When you look into me, you see the unknown. Be wary, but be welcome”

This saying was the first of many the author created to help her remember and recall her talent for creativity. The depths to which we look into the people we admire is the only limit to what we can learn about them; if we look deeply, darkly, we will find ourselves afraid, perhaps even terrified. That doesn’t mean that the depths and darkness are any less welcoming.

“Where flows my pen, there lay I. Naked. Exposed. And waiting to be read.”

This saying was the first the author created and attached directly to her first online personas and presence. It is true that everyone has creativity; not everyone is prepared to be exposed by their shared works. Where the author’s pen flows or hands set type, there she remains. All writing is any author’s truth, in some form or another. When a writer truly shares their Self in their work, they can’t help but feel the prickling cruelty of the cold world, the judgmental eyes of their critics past and future. And still they ache and crave to be read!
